New undergraduate certificates make Higher Education degrees more accessible
New undergraduate certificates released by Charles Darwin University (CDU) will provide an accessible entry pathway for students wanting to study in Higher Education without an ATAR score.
The courses were first introduced in 2021 as a one-off offering, and due to popularity and demand, the courses are now available for enrolment from Semester 1, 2022 onwards.
A higher education qualification, the undergraduate certificate is available in areas including arts, social science, environmental science, exercise and sport science, health, education, business and mental health.
Students have the flexible option of studying entirely online or on-campus from six months to up to one year.
Once completed, they will gain direct entry into a relevant bachelor’s degree at CDU with credits in up to four subjects.
In addition to Commonwealth supported places, a course fee discount is available for students who apply for and commence their undergraduate certificate in 2022.
An ATAR score is not required for the undergraduate certificate. A Year 12 certificate, a Certificate III, or equivalent study or work experience is needed for entry into the course.
